How to Remove Eyelash Extensions: Ways that work!!

Removing your eyelashes at home is not recommended without using professional remover. As the glue is very tough and if you try to remove the extensions by yourself using home remedies may end in you losing your own natural lashes. We suggest purchasing some professional remover for a small cost below:

Here are our top tricks to removing them  at home, although the risk of pulling out your own eyelashes this way is greater:

1/ Steam your face in warm water and gentle massage your lashes

2/ While you are in the shower, massage your lashes and see if any come loose

3/ Dab some olive oil on a cotton bud and gently work that into your fake lashes

4/ If olive oil does not work try baby oil or an oil based make up remover

It is very important not to pull or pluck your fake lashes off in any way as you will end up pulling out your own lashes as well. If you really struggle to get them out, it will be best to get them professionally taken out at your nearest salon. This will cost a bit of money but when it comes to your eyes it is best not to take any chances.

Have you removed your eyelash extensions by yourself? How did you do it, please share your tips below.

I tried olive oil and baby oil with heat and neither worked.

I used baby oil, and applied it to the root where the glue is, and I left it so soak on for a while to see if it gradually loosened them. Some did come out. However I still have a few in. Some of my own lashes have come out with the fake ones on their own even though I did not pull them out or anything, I have lost quite a few of my own lashes and I don’t think I will be having lash extensions again. I hope they will grow back.
